“What did you learn in home ec?”
“My husband laughs about my degree, but you’d be surprised how rounded the curriculum was. I was required to take accounting, algebra, and I even had to take a basic automobile care course.”
“Sounds tough.”
“It was tougher than Dan’s music appreciation class.”
“I took one blow off class, so what?”
“What about the trip to Manitou Island?”
“Environmental science.”
“So that case of Miller’s you took was part of the environmental impact study?”
“As a mater of fact we used the empty cans to collect samples.”
“And the cigars?”
“For building camaraderie.”
