“They were bought by the sisters of St Isabel of France. I was in the last graduating class at Hudson. ”
“That makes sense. St Isabel’s over in Hudson. I didn’t know.”
“Before the sisters took over it was smaller than most community colleges.”
“What was your major.”
“It was a liberal arts college. That was my degree, liberal arts. I took a lot of history and English classes.”
From the kitchen, “I was in the first graduating class at St Isabel’s.”
“What’s your degree?”
“Home economics.”
“Never heard of that either.”
“It’s out of date, not offered any more.”
