Pretty ended her call, and tossed the clothes in the wash. After their swim, tumble, and fold she put Rar and Lar in the drawer, along with boxer.
After a few days the boys and Boxer got taken from the drawer at the same time. Boxer and the twins had very seldom worked together.

Three Rings (Socks CLXXIV)

"Wait, that's not all. The older man from Leo's was parked behind Cheater. They talked outside the car before they left the office."

"I think it was probably Frank, from the description."

"Who knows what they talked about.

"I don't know how long Cheater was at the office, but I do know that I called three times before he answered."

"Well, earlier he called me, and said that he was on the way to the office. I waited forty-five minutes, called his number, no answer. A half-hour after later I tried again. He answered the third call, a half-hour later."

"Well, he went back to Leo's, and Cheater's car was gone. He couldn't get a read on the tracker."

"Anyway, he decided to go in, and try to talk to the girl. He couldn't reveal too much, so she thought Fatman was hitting on her. She blew him off."

"When Fatman was going home, he got a read on the tracker. The car was in the office parking lot."

"An older man stopped and talked to Cheater's friend, then followed Cheater into the bathroom."

"Well, maybe he was as old as you and Dad, but Fatman didn't say anything about him having a walker."

Pretty giggled, "You deserved it for interrupting me."

Anyway, when Cheater came out of the bathroom, they left, but the woman stopped and talked with the girl, and gave her what looked like a business card."

"They left in her car, and as Fatman followed, they turned around in a parking lot so fast he didn't dare stay with them."

"Yes, while Cheater and his girlfriend were eating, another girl in her twenties came over to their table..."

"Yes, Fatman was sitting at the bar, watching. Anyway, the girl looked like she was mad at Cheater."

"Anyway, the girl went back to her seat, but Fatman didn't want Cheater to see him talking to her."

Tee Talks (Socks CLXIX)

"Who," said Tee.
"Who? What?"
"Pavarotti is a who."
Tee finished explaining Pavarotti.
Rar was skeptical, "How do you know Pavarotti?"
"Don't you listen to the music that Pretty plays when she's knocking the dust from everything?"
"Not really, I'm in here when the music is on. Hard to hear from inside the drawer."
After a time Pretty came home. Again she picked up the basket. But she sat it down again before leaving the bedroom. She picked up the phone, "Mom, got a minute to talk?"
"Fatman followed him last night. He was at Leo's Grill. With a woman."
