Facts of Life (Socks CDXIX)

The memories of the weddings sent the ring off on a tangent, "Objects and animals come in male and female. The only difference between the sexes in objects is voice and attitude. The animals, humans included, have those same differences between the genders, plus physical differences."
The ring went on to explain the differences, and what the animals did with those differences.
The twins were close enough to hear, "Lar, I think we saw that. That's how Grunter got his name." He told the ring the story.
The ring confirmed their suspicions, "Not all of them make that much noise."
