"Did it hurt?"
"No way. The woman that I worked for said that she would get a new cord, but the man said that he wanted to get an under the cabinet coffee maker."
"What's that?"
Sunbeam told Lar the differences. "She left me on the counter, and I watched the new coffee maker take over."
"How long were you there?"
"Long enough for about ten pots to brew. The woman said that she like my coffee better, but the man said that I cluttered up the counter."
"If she liked your coffee better, how did you end up here?"
