"Now what?" Grunter asked.
"I'm staying at my Mom's tonight. I'll go to the lawyer tomorrow."
"Won't you give me another chance?"
"No I won't."
Pretty began talking, every once in a while stopping to blow her nose, "I'm going to go home as soon as I leave here, and pack a suitcase."
"But..."
"That doesn't mean that you get the house, be ready to move out tomorrow."
Grunter remained quiet.
"Sir, I'll be following your wife home. I'll be there, waiting outside. I am asking you very nicely, see me smiling, to stay away for at least an hour.
