Time went by. The twins went to work with Grunter a few times with nothing remarkable happening. Meetings, dinners, trips to Gina's, and her stubbly ankles became commonplace.
Then after one particular meeting Grunter and Stubbly followed their routine of food and drinks.
A pair of smooth ankles came to the table, "I see no ring on this woman's finger. Where's your wife?"
"What do you want?"
"I want to expose you for the maggot that you are."
"Look, we came here for a quiet..."
The ankles turned a little, "Did he tell you that he's married?"
"Yes, I know."
