After months of dinners and pig noises with Ms. Stubbly Lar and Rar Gylegrey could hear arguments. Grunter, as Rar called him, threatened to leave. This worried the brothers, they would not see Pretty Shanks anymore. Then an errant toss separated the twins. Lar got back to the drawer, but not Rar.
One day there was yelling outside the drawer. The drawer flew open and the socks and underwear were removed and put in a cardboard box. All except Lar, he was thrown back in. Grunter said "Where's my other grey argyle?"
Lar was in the empty drawer alone, crying.
